Summary: Charting planets in a star cluster, Flash, Dale and Zarkov approach a barren planet when they pick up a distress signal from the surface, where three murderers have been exiled as punishment for their crimes.
Unwittingly landing their ship to offer assistance, the rescuers are suddenly overpowered by the group and left to die on the “Dark Planet” as the homicidal exiles take over their ship...
